Group members not getting messaged

If you chose the 2nd method of using the app in your group, that means you are posting from your personal profile and using a sold.as link.


If your group members said they clicked on the sold.as link and installed the app, but did not receive their invoice. Please have them check their settings to make sure they allow 3rd party apps to be installed.

They might have a couple other issues that are preventing them from getting messaged: 

  • They changed their FB password recently and need to re-authorize the app
  • They did not accept all permissions when they installed the app

In both cases, they just need to uninstall and reinstall the app. You can copy/paste the following instructions for them:

1) Please uninstall "Comment Selling" from here: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings

2) Then click on your sold.as link again from the post, making sure to grant all permissions that it asks for
