Waitlisted shopper did not get message when I restocked

Your shoppers that get waitlisted have to click the "Get messages" button in order for us to have full permission from Facebook to message them when the item becomes available in the future:

If you see a ! next to the "Waitlisted" status in the DASHBOARD table, that means 1 of 2 things:

1) Either the shopper did not click the "Get messages" to opt-in to your Waitlist. They only need to opt-in once. This article explains how waitlists work.

2) Or they opted-in properly, but they were waitlisted for more than 1 product that came back-in-stock one the same day.

Meta restricts an app from sending a proactive message more than once in a 24 hour period. So we're only allowed to send 1 back-in-stock message per 24-hour period. So we'll send a back-in-stock message for the first waitlisted product, but the shopper won't receive subsequent back-in-stock messages for other products that were restocked on the same day.

Rest assured these other products still get added to their invoice. It's just they won't receive a dedicated back-in-stock message for them.

If it's important for you to send a back-in-stock message for each and every restocked product, there is a workaround. When you get items back in stock, you can release 1 product set per day. And that will ensure waitlisted shoppers get back-in-stock messages for all products they were waiting for.
